CORAL RIDGE ISLES EASTER EGG HUNT 2004
Once again, Dan Tordella led an outstanding effort by a large number of volunteers who helped make the 2004 Egg Hunt one of the best ever. With the Easter Bunny as the ‘celebrity host’, children of all ages enjoyed the race to gather eggs that held prizes and candy.
Eggs
that held a ticket could be turned in to the main desk under the pavilion for
prizes such as a bright red fireman’s helmet. This was the favorite prize of
the children as they were able to take a tour of a real fire truck courtesy of
the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department. Representatives from the Police Department
were also in attendance as residents, neighbors and friends all enjoyed the
community camaraderie.
Activities included a ‘train’ ride in a colorful train complete with engine and cars around the park, face painting, volleyball games and a bounce house that the children lined up to experience again and again.
